Pallikarnai flats

This is an upcomming project in Pallikarnai for M/s. Mettupakkam foundations. 4o flats of each 600 sqft is going to exist. The site is sub divided into 10 plots and each plot consits of stilts plus two floors (Two flats in each floor). all the flats are well ventilated with larger windows and has a smooth flow in design. We are now fine tuning the design and working on the elevation concepts which will be uploaded soon

Commercial buildings

This proposed project is going to exist in valasarvalkam. Its a corner plot. A restaurant is proposed in the corner with an office building and a service building on either sides

Ranjani Jebaraj house

This is a house in a narrow plot for Ms.Ranjani jebaraj at Shaw Wallace colony. The width of house is only 20feet but designed meticulously without compromising on room sizes and ventilation

Park City

A gated community project of 65 villas in padapai near hiranandani palace gardens.
Highlights: Lush green sorroundings, club house with swimming pool and Lake view deck

Philosophy

Clean and simple

People sometimes equate good design with expensive lavish materials and ornate trim in over abundance to the point of overwhelming the viewer. “ Less is more” does hold true. The quality of space is much more important than quality or amount of “decoration”. Clean and simple surfaces can be intresting and sophisticated given the right composition of form, materials, proportion, colour, texture, etc. Although they may sometimes be appropriate, trim and molding are more utilised by contractors to hide misaligned materials, rough edges and poor craft. They intensify and emphasize the superficial, while distracting from the subtle beauty and order of the essential architecture.

Advice on choosing a building site (or measure existing building.)

Programming:

A written description of your needs, which is used as the basis for design.

Schematic design:

Sketches of various alternate schemes that will satisfy your program. After receiving your comments, a single scheme is developed.

Design development:

Drawings, outline specifications, and estimates that further describe the size and character of the project.

Contract documents:

Working drawings and specifications describe the work in detail. They are used for competitive bidding and for construction of the building.

Administration:

Site visits from time to time to assist the contractor with interpretation of the contract documents and to verify that the work conforms to the documents
